Har har har, i make the headline like it was a big deal issue. o come on, it's just me who've been busy posting the damon albarn things and suddenly remember to post my own cover art for this band.

I used to be the keyboard player in It's Different Class and since then i became a lifetime designer for them. I'll talk about them more later on next posting. But here i show you my artwork of their sef-titled debut album. Which was designed by me :p

Ladies and gents here it is, A very creepy cover art from Monkey: Journey To The West Album. Just don't look straight into the eyes. It comes alive. I assume Jamie Hewlett did the illustration (...of course idiot).

last night i watched bbc documentary "girls and boys" and i remember someone had uploaded this crucial scene on youtube. So i searched it again with the keyword "Damon on Liam" har har har..girls, loose yourself..

i thought it was

(yes you definitely are Damon..AAAAWWW..huehehehe..)

"Modern Life Is Rubbish" Slogan Creator

Blur fans absolutely know where Modern Life Is Rubbish album title come from. Wiki has it that it was taken from a graffiti Albarn saw on London's Edgware Road. But have you ever noticed who were behind the slogan?
it turns out the creators were the anti-media, a London-based counter culture group. They sprayed their slogan across central London in the 1980s.

So i suppose this blog has its name from them too hehehe. i was kinda inspired.

The Debt Collector Love Buddha Closet Romantic

This is a track from Monkey called 'I Love Buddha', which Damon take role as the genius composer. i think it has similarity with Damon Albarn's Closet Romantic (Trainspotting OST, 1996) and Blur's The Debt Collector (Parklife, 1994). Maybe because they have those same waltzes tune from this one person's brain. Hats off to you Mr. Albarn :)
