Gimme A Hamburger Today, Please

My english teacher poked fun at me because of my email address. i was once sending him an email of the essay he had told me to do. then he checked his email in front of the class and laughed to my email address. i became embarrased, cos i admitted my email address is a crap. it's hamburgerku@yahoo.com. "'ku' like in 'my hamburger'..?"he joked. argh idiot.

but i can tell you the reason why i baptised my email address with that silly name, it's simply because of this.
o lord, i can't stand not to eat all the burger in every burger stall in jakarta. i love it very much. and thanks god that i have found the love of my life on this site. It's called A Hamburger Today, a weblog that shows you the best burger places across the US. There are also some recipes to try on, y'know i'm good at grilling burger. Me and my boyfriend have held two party with GIY (Grill It Yourself) burgers as the main course, and all of my friends are just happy with it :)

ok now i'm starving..i need a hamburger today..gimme my hamburgerku bwahahaha..idiet!

They Still Have A Monkey After Gorillaz

Not to worry for damon fans out there, nme said they've got the first peek at the artwork for Damon albarn and Jamie Hewlett's new album titled "A Journey To The West", based on the original score of the Monkey opera, and they had it under the name Monkey.

and keep your eyes on their next project called 'Carousel', Jamie said to the observer:
"'Carousel' is even bigger and more difficult than 'Monkey'. I've done a lot of visuals and Damon's done a lot of music but we haven’t figured out how they’re going to fit together.
"It's sort of like a film but not with one narrative story. There's many stories, told around a bigger story, set to music, and done in live action, animation, all different styles.
"Originally it was a film but now we think it's a film and it's a stage thing as well. Damon's written around 70 songs for it, and I've got great plans for the visuals."

okay, wait, 70 songs?? Whoof Damon what a productive man you are. So ladies and gentlemen here's Damon Albarn the rennaisance man who had changed the face of pop nearly 20 years ago and now seems likely always needed a stage. har har har.

Oasis' New Album Artwork Revealed

After had Sir Peter Blake, who also designed the cover art for The Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, designing their Stop The Clocks' artwork. Oasis revealed their new album artwork Dig Out Your Soul who was designed by collage artist Julian House. Do you think it has a hidden meaning? i think it has a trippy feeling back to 60s. don't know what oasis aim to but the album seems likely to be very trippy or colourful or upbeat. dunno. the artwork remind me of the coral's i think.

just found this on youtube. a slideshow of the very sexy damon (according to the video) made by a truly damon fan. this is a funny video, i laughed raucously watching this video, cos y'know, mariah carey is along the way, singing 'touch my body', while i'm watching to damon's pic, half naked. har har har this is so funny. the weird thing is that she used a pop song as a background song, but i just simply like it. hahaha. quirky.

ps: this video came with a series of other pop song, you should check it by yourself but still this one is my favourite har har har :D

"Explain" Another Baggy Origin Song From Blur

taken from Starshaped DVD - a documentary of Blur on the 90's

i watched this video on youtube around march this year and noticed the song which Blur were singing along to. it caught my ear, i thought it was a song from happy mondays or other baggy band they loved. i was wrong.

Last month I found this track on blur's single. It was taken from Bang (Anniversary Box) and i simply fell in love with it. I always like their first single which has a baggy sound in it. You know, the drums in There's No Other Way and Explain.

All That Glitters Is Gay !

Brian Slade of Venus in Furs, an artwork after watching the film. inspired eh?

okay, i've just watched velvet goldmine movie and here's the moral question: what's in indie kid's mind when they wrote "velvet goldmine" as one of their favourite movies? whether they really were gay (moses' said) or well they just wrote it down to make a cool statement of themselves that they favoured one of a very trendy cult movies besides trainspotting, clockwork orange, lock stock and two smoking barrels, pulp fiction, 24 hr party ppl, well..take your pick.

i don't put a blame on this film, only the scene where christian bale and ewan mcgregor were shagging, ough that's just gross, yet cute -_-, whoa :D i couldn't help myself watching it and i laughed up one's sleeve har har har..



not to mention when brian slade (rhys-meyers) turned his eye balls into a pink heartshaped one and so his manager, turned into a dollar one, when curt wilde (mcgregor) approved his proposal to come to england with them..corny!



well at this point i know this is likely to be a gay movie.
so back to the moral question, would you pick this film as your favourite one?
